The FIT6 Programme is divided into 6 stages: one to
Reduce Inflammation, four major stages of Weight Loss
and one of Weight Loss/Toning
Each stage lasts 30 days and they are sequential.
Begin with Stage 1 (Reduce Inflammation) whose primary goal is to reduce inflammation in the body.
Then move on to Stage 2 (Weight Loss) thus starting the four stage Weight Loss cycle.
Finally comes the 6th Stage (Weight Loss/Toning) which, combined with physical exercise, aims to deal with a long term weight loss process.

Set your Weight Loss goal and once you reach it, start the Maintenance Stage! (this stage lasts 60 days)
Maintenance can be used at any time during the program. As soon as you reach the goal, maintenance begins. No matter what stage you are in. It matters that you have reached your goal.
Your body needs to become more tolerant and that is what you want at this stage. Increase tolerance for less restricted eating and weight stabilization. The main aim is to avoid the yo-yo effect and to allow you to eat everything!
This stage also involves a gradual reduction in the intake of food supplements or the replacement of weight loss supplements by multivitamins.
It is intended to prevent the onset of swelling and fluid retention, which may occur with immediate cessation and to ensure stability of metabolism. Your weight may take a few weeks to stabilize. Swings or weight loss is normal.
